Not so long ago, the gents lavatories (‘loos’ from now on) at Marylebone Station in London were in genuine need of repair and renovation.
Basins were often faulty, doors were often unhinged, communal space was cramped and it required constant cleaning and supervision.
I assume the ladies loos weren’t much better because Chiltern Railways — or maybe it’s Network Rail — announced a programme of repairs and improvements to both the gents and ladies loos.
